Key Initiatives & Stories
Support to Beti Bachao Beti Padhao
Driven by the belief that every girl deserves the right to learn and grow, RAWS has actively supported the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign through advocacy and grassroots interventions. By engaging directly with communities, the initiative works towards shifting mindsets and encouraging equal opportunities for the girl child.
Through awareness programs, local outreach, and on-ground support, RAWS has reached over 3,500 individuals, motivating families to prioritize their daughters' education. These initiatives have fostered an environment that empowers girls to pursue their aspirations with confidence and dignity.
Childcare & Crèche Programs
Recognizing the need for safe and supportive environments for young children, RAWS initiated childcare and crèche programs to assist working mothers in sustaining their livelihoods. By creating secure spaces, the initiative ensures that children receive proper care, attention, and early learning opportunities while their mothers focus on earning and supporting their families.
Through these programs, RAWS has supported over 1,200 children and enabled 800+ mothers to work with greater peace of mind and stability. Beyond childcare, the initiative strengthens families by promoting independence, economic participation, and a more secure future for both mothers and their children.
Adoption & Support Programs
With a commitment to standing by those who need sustained care, RAWS has developed adoption and support programs for children affected by crisis situations. From those impacted by the Uri attack to children affected during the COVID-19 pandemic, the initiative focuses on ensuring stability, protection, and dignity over the long term.
Through continuous support, including education, financial assistance, and emotional care, RAWS has impacted over 600 children, helping them rebuild their lives with confidence and security. These efforts go beyond immediate relief, creating a foundation for a brighter and more stable future.
Nirbhaya Trust Initiatives
Driven by a commitment to creating safer spaces for women, RAWS has actively contributed to initiatives aligned with the Nirbhaya Fund, focusing on advocacy, awareness and meaningful action. By engaging communities and stakeholders, the initiative aims to strengthen conversations around women’s safety and justice.
Through awareness campaigns, outreach programs and support-driven activities, RAWS has reached over 4,000 individuals, encouraging proactive steps toward prevention, safety and empowerment. These efforts aim to build a society where women can live with dignity, confidence and a stronger sense of security.
