Building Foundations for Better Living

Infrastructure is dignity. RAWS works to ensure access to basic necessities like water, sanitation, and identity.

Key Initiatives & Stories

01

Handpump Installations in Champaran

Addressing the critical need for safe drinking water, RAWS undertook handpump installation initiatives in Champaran to support underserved communities. With a focus on accessibility and basic health, these efforts aimed to ensure that families no longer have to struggle for clean water.

Over 800 families now have dependable access to clean drinking water thanks to RAWS's installation of more than 50 handpumps. Beyond meeting an essential need, the initiative has improved daily living conditions, reduced health risks, and strengthened community well-being.

02

Construction of Toilets & Sanitation Awareness

Recognizing that access to proper sanitation is fundamental to health and dignity, RAWS has undertaken initiatives focused on building essential facilities and promoting hygiene awareness. By addressing both infrastructure and behavior, the effort aims to create lasting change within communities.

Through the construction of over 200 toilets and targeted sanitation awareness drives, RAWS has impacted more than 2,500 individuals, encouraging safer hygiene practices and improved living conditions. These initiatives not only reduce health risks but also foster a sense of dignity, especially for women and children, within underserved communities.

03

Drinking Water Tanks & Wells

Addressing the long-term need for reliable water access, RAWS has focused on strengthening rural infrastructure through the construction of drinking water tanks and wells. These efforts are designed to provide sustainable solutions that support everyday life in underserved communities.

Through the development of over 40 water tanks and wells, RAWS has ensured access to safe drinking water for more than 1,200 families. Beyond infrastructure, the initiative has improved health outcomes, reduced the burden of water collection, and contributed to more resilient and self-sufficient rural communities.

04

Aadhaar Card Centers

Recognizing that access to identity is the first step toward inclusion, RAWS has facilitated the setup of Aadhaar card centers to help individuals connect with essential services and rights. By simplifying the process, the initiative ensures that even the most underserved communities are not left behind.

Through these centers, RAWS has assisted over 5,000 individuals in obtaining their Aadhaar, enabling access to government schemes, financial services, and social security benefits. Beyond documentation, the initiative empowers people with recognition, opportunity, and a stronger sense of belonging.
